I bleached 2 types of denim for different amounts of time varying from 5mins till an hour to discover the effect I wanted.
My favourite trial was the 1 hour, the bleach graduated in colour. It was the most effective and something I wish to experiment with. On the side I started making a basic jacket block. I want to bleach half of the jacket.
I have been inspired by Vivienne Westwood's slashing technique. I wish to slash the fabric, dye, sand, tear, rip and manipulate the block by slashing and opening the jacket. This will create a new silhouette.
